The Personal Injury Department at Harris + Harris acted for a self-employed businessman who was injured in a Road Traffic Accident. Our client was unhappy with his previous legal representation, The other drivers' insurance company had offered £2,500 to settle the claim alleging our client was also at fault, which he did not accept.

After Harris + Harris took over conduct of the claim additional medical evidence was obtained & proceedings were issued. The Insurance company made a Payment into Court of £12,500, which was not accepted. A matter of days before the Trial they increased their offer to £27,200 plus costs, which we were able to advise the client to accept.
