• The offices are open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5.15 p.m.
• Outside office hours messages can be left on the ansaphone or sent by e-mail or fax.
• The ansaphone will give an out of hours phone number for urgent problems that cannot wait until the office is next open.

How to Find Us

• The Market Place office is at the top end of the Market Place between the National Trust shop and the archway (Bishop's Eye) leading to the Bishop's Palace. Unless you have made specific arrangements to go to Sadler Street please come to Market Place.
• The Sadler Street office is on the right hand side of Sadler Street just before the entrance to the Market Place. Sadler Street is a one way street leading to the Market Place and High Street.
• We have an interview room on the ground floor of the Market Place office, and a toilet approached by a corridor with one step. Sadler Street office does not have a ground floor interview room but please let us know if you require this facility and we will arrange to see you at the Market Place office.

By Car

On the A39 from Bristol or Bath

• Approaching Wells on the A39 into New Street. At the mini roundabout go straight across into Chamberlain Street . At the traffic lights turn left into Sadler Street . Our 7 Sadler Street office is towards the far end of the street on the right just before the entrance to the Market Place. Turn left into the Market Place and our 14 Market Place office is facing you at the top end of the square between the National Trust shop and the archway (Bishop's Eye) leading to the Bishop's Palace.

On the A39 from Glastonbury or the A371 from Shepton Mallet

• Approaching Wells on the A39 from Glastonbury or the A371 from Shepton Mallet at the roundabout by the Sherston Inn take the A39 Strawberry Way . Carry on along the bypass until the road divides at the traffic lights and bear right onto the A39 Mountery Road . Continue on this road until the junction and traffic lights taking the right turning into New Street and following the directions as above.

Parking

• We do not have our own car park. There is pay-parking for 30 minutes in the Market Place which costs £1. Please note you cannot park in the Market Place on Wednesdays, as it is Market Day. There may be spaces in the Cathedral Precincts, which is free for 2 hours. There are pay-parking car parks in Chamberlain Street and Whiting Way, about 5 minutes walk away. Follow signs for the Cathedral or the Bishop's Palace.

Buses

• These stop in Sadler Street opposite our office, or at Wells Bus Station, which is about 5 minutes walk. Please call us if you need times.

Trains

• There is no train service to Wells.
