Janet Saxon qualified as a Solicitor in 1998, having previously worked in the telecoms industry for eleven years, and for the Legal Aid Board in Berkshire. She joined Harris + Harris in 2001 and she specialises in Family Matters - whether that is trying to resolve disputes between parents or grandparents about their children or dealing with financial and property division on divorce or separation
She is recognised as an accredited specialist with Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association) and increasingly deals with couples who are not married. She firmly believes that the best approach to family matters is to consider the human impact rather than just the legal point in question! she is a trustee for Mendip Citizen's Advice Bureau.
Janet works from our Wells office and is also Deputy Diocesan Registrar for the Dioceses of Bristol and Bath & Wells, working alongside Tim Berry in our Ecclesiastical department.
