John Clare is head of the Company + Commercial Law and Commercial Property Law departments. Trained as a solicitor in Yorkshire he practiced in the Midlands before joining Harris + Harris in 1980.
As Harris + Harris has grown so has our client base. John advises clients from sole traders through SMEs to national & multi-national companies. His role ranges from one-off advice to being Company Secretary to a PLC. Clients include companies trading in retail, minerals, transport, public services, IT and many other sectors. All value his professional approach & attention to detail. He is used to working with other solicitors & other professional advisers to achieve practical solutions
at reasonable cost and to tight deadlines.
He also has experience & expertise in Planning Law, and has trained & practised as an Arbitrator.
John also acts as Money Laundering Reporting Officer for
Harris + Harris. His other managerial roles include
supervising the File Review system and assessing Harris + Harris' Client Care system.
