Neil Howlett is a "recovering litigator". He has more than 20 years experience in Dispute Resolution + Litigation including defending serious fraud.
He is now putting this experience of resolving disputes towards preventing them. To meet the needs of real businesses his emphasis is on practical solutions to risk. This includes advice on Company + Commercial Law, including business structures, contracts + intellectual property rights, on which he has co-authored a book for independent film producers.
He also has many years experience in Employment Law acting for employers & employees, and can help with employment contracts, restructuring, compromise agreements and TUPE issues.
Neil joined Harris + Harris in 1987 after
working in Bath and Canterbury. He is able to put his
experience as Partner in charge of Quality Management and
Complaints at Harris + Harris to good use for clients. Neil is
also Partner with responsibility for Strategy, Equality &
Diversity and Community Social Responsibility, ensuring that his
advice to clients is both up to date and practical
